Raku Fire Day

Students between 8th-12th grade in Art Club got to participate in a Raku Event firing 2 pots each, and in between firings had other art activities like painting, jewelry making, and cyanotype bag making to work on throughout the day. We invited a visiting artist to the district 2 times throughout the year. The firs visit was to help the students build their pots and introduce Raku, and the second time was for the full day of firing their pieces.
